We could still use a photo

You know, if anyone is brave enough to take a photo of the headquarters building. Might not want to get anyone coming or going.--Darryl Kerrigan (talk) 02:31, 21 May 2020 (UTC) I took one on November 16, after I was fired for going public about COVID stuff (see Global News “Before COVID hit CSIS”). After departing I turned and looked at NHQ one last time! Weapons Section

I removed the text from the weapons section dealing with specific weapons as it was all unsourced and asserted that specific weapons were "widely known" to be used by the CSIS, despite having no search results besides this wikipedia page. If anyone has a source for those, we can add them back, but I left what's actually sourced. This may not even be enough for its out section at this point, but I'll leave finding a home for that one sentence and source to someone else. bragr (talk) 05:52, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

Dubious: Courts don't normally issue press releases

Adding paragraphs to the "Controversies" section - I am the subject of the news articles

Request adding the following to 'Controversies" section: "In May 2021, Global News reported an interview with Gary Vos Smith, an Intelligence Officer for CSIS since 1991.  In the interview, Vos Smith said he faced reprisals at work because of his push for mandatory masking at CSIS HQ in Ottawa.  Because of the classified nature of its work, CSIS required its employees to be at the office throughout the pandemic.  As more and more employees returned to the workplace, many of Vos Smith’s colleagues expressed concern about the lack of mandatory masking.  Many employees would not leave their offices unless absolutely necessary in order to avoid bumping into someone not wearing a mask.   Vos Smith was surprised at the refusal of CSIS Executive to impose a mask mandate.  He was told that he was not doing what was expected of a manager by pursuing the mask issue.  He was also told he was disrespectful and was subjected to a health review which uncovered that he was a recovering alcoholic and taking anti-anxiety medication.  He was asked by Health Services if he had relapsed. A mask mandate was imposed after several COVID outbreaks within CSIS HQ and after Director David Vigneault caught COVID. Vos Smith said that his decision to go public was not easy and that he feared that CSIS executive would take further action against him for speaking publicly.[1] On March 2, 2023, Global News reported that CSIS terminated the employment of Gary Vos Smith on November 16, 2022, because of the interview he did with Global News.    This article also noted that hundreds of CSIS employees at CSIS HQ in Ottawa had signed a petition over COVID health and safety measures that they felt were lacking.[2]"

Forced Disappearance

There's a problem. There is information that there was a kidnapping in Ontario, with the subject being held in a septic tank on the discretion of CSIS and to the knowledge of the broader global intelligence community. I understand that under the current formula it would count as 'original research'.
